I posted a Forum win on March 20 re: Coca-Cola FIFA World Cup™ Tour.

I was invited to the Old Billingsgate (now a conference centre) on the banks of the River Thames, in London, close to Tower Bridge.

There was an inter-activity session followed by an Audience with Wayne Rooney (Manchester United and England). He was accompanied by Peter Shilton (former England goalkeeper), Mark Lawrenson (former Ireland international, now BBC football pundit), and BBC presenter Ray Stubbs.

The original World Cup was retained by Brazil after they won it for the third time in 1970. The new trophy is 36 cm high, made of solid 18-carat gold and weighs 6,175 grammes. The base contains two layers of semi-precious malachite while the bottom side of the Trophy bears the engraved year and name of each FIFA World Cup™ winner since 1974.

It was the first time this new trophy has been seen in Britain - and I was there were for the prestigious unveiling
.   So exciting! And a priceless prize.
