What I love about this excellent hobby is that, from the moment you send off that form or fill in your E Mail address or postcard you feel that maybe, just this once, you may win!

Well that is exactly what happened when I received a WTC from Beuna Vista on Thursday 4th November. The excitement grew when she said that the tickets would be delivered by courier at my workplace the following day!

Thankfully we had a Bonfire Party organised on the Saturday night so I managed to not have time for the excitement to build too much, as otherwise I would have exploded.

Andy and I were due to meet up with my friend and her little girl on the Sunday at about 12.45. The pre premiere party was due to start at 1.00pm. On the tube going to Leicester Square felt I wanted to shout out WE ARE GOING TO A PREMIERE AND I WON THE TICKETS!!! (Refrained from doing so - with a VERY thankful look from Andy!)

As we turned the corner into Leicester Square was a mixture of awe and horror as I saw the huge crowd of people waiting outside the Empire. They were all cordoned off from a very long Red Carpet (poor souls didn't have a ticket!), the red carpet was also lined with TV cameras and the paparazzi (unfortunately NONE of them mistook me for Nicole Kidman!)

As we got to the beginning of the walk along THE red carpet I took a deep breath and thought You Go Girl, Enjoy This, It MAY never happen again. Sorry to sound sacrilegious but I felt like I wanted to be like the Pope and kiss the carpet (for those of you who know this win was on my list of 10 most wanted prizes - so I make no excuses)!

When we got to the entrance of the cinema surrounded by all the photographers, was expecting my mum to shout "Come on Di - time for breakfast - or you'll be late for school"! It didn't happen, the dream was real!

When we got inside there was so much to do - people were making balloon animals for the kids, there was face painting, you could have your photographs taken with the characters, goodie bags on the seats oh yes, and a bit of celebrity spotting. Jonathan Ross, Samuel L Jackson, Holly Hunter, Linford Christie, Christian Slater, oh yes and Di Bragg!!!!

The film was fantastic and, to finish off a magical day we walked to Regent Street and saw the Christmas Lights being turned on!

Hope you enjoy the piccies of Andy having his face painted ( well make up applied to look like he had a black eye)

- and one of him with Nicole Kidman ......................... oh no sorry - it's me!!

Keep going! You NEVER know what the postie may bring!
