Hi everyone thought I would tell you how my recent win went!

As you know after winning this prize I was unsure wether my husband would actually come with me! Anyway after much bullying and threatening to take this cute Rugby player at work he finally agreed to go.

We arrived at the 5* Pennyhill Park just before midday on Saturday the 23rd July. We signed in and were given kits etc and were delighted to find there were going to be couples older than us participating! We were then given a delightful lunch which unfortunately we couldn't make the most of as we knew we would soon be running around a Rugby pitch.

After lunch we checked into our room (one nice touch in the room for compers were 2 stamped postcards, which of course I quickly packed!) and it was get changed into the kit and onto the field. We had a photoshoot with the Rugby players before starting. For those who know anything about Rugby the players are Ben Coen (drop dead gorgeous), Peter Stringer and Simon Warner.

We did various ball skill exercises with each of the players (although somehow I missed out on Ben Coen) and I was the only female who attempted more than one session. Peter Stringer the Irish Rugby player was really sweet and spent a lot of time with me (wasted) trying to show me how to kick! At the end I thought I was finally going to get closer to Ben but found myself in a Rugby match! This was scary and I actually had the ball passed to me twice, I once succesfully passed it to someone else but the other time I would rather forget! The training day was supposed to finish at 5.00pm but at 5.45 we were still out there! At half time we decided it was time to sneak off to the bar!

Then it was quick change for the evening barbeque. The barbeque was lovely, with salmon, kebabs etc with beer and wine all laid on. Peter Stringer and his lovely girlfriend actually came and sat with us along with another couple who we had met earlier. I did get the chance to meet other compers on the day especailly a great lady called Mary who will soon be off to Hollywood courtesy of some sandwiches! The drinks kept flowing until after 11.00pm and we then rather stupidly retired to the bar. We did drink slightly too much but were still able to enjoy a magnificent breakfast the next day. One other nice touch was the fact that when we came to the barbeque they gave us all a photograph to take home. Our kit bags also contained a few extra goodies, radios, pants and some flip flops!

All in all it was a very enjoyable prize, which I would recommend you all enter next year!
