Here's one for rewarding your menfolk! You need to decide which of 5 categories to enter your man for: 1) most romantic husband, 2) yummiest dad, 3) most stylish husband, 4) most heroic husband and 5) 'Future husband' - this one can be your friend or brother - the idea is that he would make a good husband for someone else!!
Go to www.evemagazine.co.uk/husbands to read details of each category and to enter. You have to send a pic of Mr. Wonderful and a description of why he should win. This isn't for the toy boys - only the over-30s can be nominated - which is my OH out from the starting hurdle. Boo.
"Entrants should be over the age of 30 and male. There is no upper age limit. By entering, all participants agree to take part in any press and publicity required and agree for their pictures to appear in eve and on the eve and NIVEA FOR MEN ® websites. The semi-finalists will be required to come to London to meet the judging panel and take part in an eve photo-shoot in London around 9 July 2008; if not available on the allocated day, the contestant will be automatically disqualified from the competition. Travel and accommodation expenses within the UK (where necessary) will be paid for. Any photos submitted by post unfortunately cannot be returned, so please make copies. The competition winner plus the four runners-up will receive a prize of a night’s stay for two at the K West Hotel in central London, plus one spa treatment of an aromatherapy back and shoulder massage and dry floatation experience each, to the value of £120. Prize also includes dinner at the hotel for each of the winning couples, to the value of £120. Any extra expense will need to be covered by relevant winners. Winners can only stay Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays; spa treatments are only available on the Sundays or Mondays (all subject to availability). Competition closing date is 14 April 2008. The semi-finalists will be notified around 30 June 2008. Proof of identity and age will be required. This competition is not open to employees or their relatives, or agents of Haymarket Media Group or Beiersdorf UK Ltd." |
